Dragon egg

Hello everyone I'm back with another video today I wanted to do a test drawing so i can use the paint thinner i bout a couple of months ago.

I used a lightly dark brown for the outline. I just needed to bring the outline out to see it better. I used the brightest brown first witch is  the burnt orcher. I applied 3 layers of this brow then blended with the paint thinner.

I experimented a lot with layering to see what I could so I cant give a exact on how much paint thinner I used. I then applied three layers of sienna brow and blended it out. Then I applied highlights starting with orange. I applied the orange on to the browns.

Then the carmine red and poppy red one the edges along with mahogany red on the very edges of each peddle or thorn! The yellow goes in the very center of each thorn witch makes it look like fire.

This is my favorite part the shading I started with the slate blue at this point I didn't have to blend.  After the blue I added the red then violet.  This gives it a nice shade of red which matches what I already did. Then I used my colorless blender to smooth it out.
The last thing I did was add black to the darkest parts!
