Well a lot to cover finished the shading did some more contrast play and added a final effect with the background this is where the charcoal comes in use a hb charcoal and an uncompressed charcoal stick theres a difference we can use the uncompressed stick to make the background blend it with a brush not there are different style of brushes which will have different effects so test it first after blending use a small type of any eraser to pull out our highlights and a 6b and hb charcoal compressed to make the foreground then use the uncompressed stick in combo with our pencils to bring the four ground to the current state! comment please^^ note that after scanning i use the computer to achieve more by lowering the contrast
You obiviously are learning some different techniques, which is a good thing. Yet I'm sorry to break it to you, but this has more of a quick sketch than it looks like a finished drawing.
So much detail! I can imagine how your hands must've looked after finishing this, all blackened and powdery with charcoal xD I like your concepts very much. I think you learned a lot while drawing this so I won't add much critique x) Just keep up the great work and continue being your creative self!
Haha, well in that case I'll mention a few things x) I love how you added tattered clothes, I like how the rib cage peeks out from underneath. I want to see a little more of the legs and feet, though. I feel like you had so much detail on them to begin with and now they are so concealed in the fabric. I think it would be cool if you would make the cape just as ratty and full of holes that we could see some of the bones there too. Just an idea for future works!
